You answered your own question...Think about it. The shock is new!

Wait for the shock to get broken in, give it a few days/weeks just my 0.02
installer error, bushings are preloaded, or you got a shock that has a longer body to it. i can't tell in the picture, but is that shock body reflecting light, or can you actually see part of the piston rod?

I'd think with coilover she would be lower...hmmmm
Is everything put back together the right way? Also, what coilovers are you running?
dropzone coilovers and yeah everything is put on right ill just wait and see if it lowers a lil bit more in time but the ride does feel better than it did before its smooth now
i just found out what the problem was the new shocks i got are diffrent than stock the thing where the spring sits which i believe is the cup sits higher than the one on the old shocks i had on just like how somebody wrote earlier on here i think new ones have longer body what can i do to fix the problem do i have to get diffrent shocks
