What all would i need to build my motor for nitrous (i have 2 extras). ive read the sticky, but want to know how to build a motor especially for spray. boost= low c/r, n20= high c/r? in your opinion which is your favorite kit? ive heard "Purple=BAD!" becaue zex isnt compatible with any other nitrous kits. ive heard NOS has been around forever and is right. ive heard zex is designed for hondas..... all me references are from ligit sources. my "crew" if you will, runs between the 10's and 13's. i want to ask the d series gurus. im not saying "these are the best people" blah blah blah, i just dont want to precieve myself as a 16 year old ricer with money (im 19 and like to do my shit right, not ghetto up everything). Some of the references come from friends in Central Florida Turbo, and Titan Motorsports. but i want to ask the d series specialists. i am of a rare breed here......

Nitrous loves high CR. and in my opinion NX kits are the best. They have lifetime warranty on their solenoids, which with time new to be rebuild. I would go ahead with a forged pistons (dome) and forged rods. The head and intake part can stay the same since nitrous carries its own oxygen (but a CAI would be a good idea), but the exhaust (hearder, full exhaust) is very important. If you are serious about nitrous then a Direct Port would be your best bet, and a custom grind cam (but drivability would be another concern). Like any other Forced induction application on a d series (or honda engine with "floating" sleeves) a blockguard, block filling, or you got the money re-sleeve the block (Darton, AEBS, etc..) And also tuning is crucial. This all I can think of it now, I'm half sleep...and I dont now if I make sense anymore lol.

A6 Mani will work fine, if you want to upgrade you can go w/ Skunk2 which works quite well all around!

my cousin has had good luck with the zex kit since it doesn't require much installation troubles and won't allow you to juice till WOT... but in the long run i say NX

You can always (and in my opinion you should) run a WOT switch, a Window Switch, and a master switch. That way you now it will only spray on WOT and you wont have to worry of overreving the engine with nitrous still being sprayed.

alot of this depends on how much you want to spray as well Direct port is a given if your serious about Nitrous even consider a 2stage system maybe. If you really want to spray big think hardened valve seats,Arp headstuds,Better HG,forged rods and pistons (fairly high comp) moly clevite rings etc...Good FPR,walbro intank FP with an extra pump set up for when spraying to keep your fuel pressure up. 2 step colder plugs for the big spray nights.(Id use reg plugs and change out when I go to the track) Never think an almost empty tank is worth the weight loss too much chance for fuel pressure issues. anyway I just woke up there are a few thoughts to consider and as to the skunk 2 mani Id research that more as my stock intake will outflow a skunk 2 up to 8000 rpm as most ds never see those kind of numbers Im curious to see the dyno results of a skunk mani compared to say a stock Z6 as I have already seen the dyno comparison to a B16A intake

all points are copy and saved. im thinking of building a motor especially for spray and im sparing no expense. i make enough money and dont have any bills, becaue of a lucky situation. my mom and dad dont pay for shit, i do. my situation is a little different. plus i make pretty good money. Anyways.....should i swap the a6 out with a z6? would a mini me be a better choice? pretty much im building a motor and itll be sprayed. ive looked into all the components i need an i think ill end up buying the while ZEX catalog, lol. with $800 comming in every 2 weeks, it should be soon. ive been fucked out of a car for like 8 months now, and my girl told me itll all play out. and it has i sold my prelude for $1300, my income tax is comming in $1000, and im getting paid well......im happy. im also smarter than i was before. basically, yall will be building my motor.

about the rods.....do i need the $700 crower rods or will the $400 eagle rods do fine? im sparing no expense so it dont matter to me, but if the eagles will be more than enough, no need to spend the extra $300....

Eagle rods will be plenty and sleeving isnt neccesary unles your thinkig like 250shot or something crazy but along with slicks get an lsd as well maybe traction bar etc it takes more than just power to get down the track
