What's your setup? You more then likely don't need to get a chipped ecu. All a chipped ecu does is directly increase the injector pulse, not modify signals like piggy back or jack up fuel pressure like FMU's. You have to do extensive upgrade to need a significant more amount fuel, like turbo, or super charger.
A FPR would be plenty for basic bolt-ons and cam. the thing about a chipped ecu is that you can fine tune the a/f and propably pull a few more pony if you got it tuned. Though it's impossible to tune the a/f yourself w/out a WB02. and it's impossible to tune the timing w/out a dyno. In a turbo car it would be more like if im dentonating/pinging or not and remove some timing.
