I'm really on the fence about buying a water to air intercooler setup from a friend for my build. The car will be seeing up to 400whp, be tracked regularly and daily driven. With a large radiator and adequate flow can I achieve equal to, or better results than an air to air? I also wouldn't mind doing it for the chance to do somthing a little differant.

I read lots on hater tech but it was focused more on race only and there was to much bullshit and arguing to sift through hehehe.

haha im obviously biased, but look at OEM super charged setups now a days.

every single one is water cooled.

That's what's been running through my head, and I could probably manage greater pump flow and a bigger heat exchanger.

I could always buy it and if it sucks ill come and puke all over the farm again :)

you wont out pace the intercooler itself.

all it would need is more water flow if it cant keep up with sustained high IAT's

either way its no big deal, ill just use it on my vitara d15 when it comes together... ill just run it with a heat exchanger and that will be that.

plus there aint much space up front on an ED anyhow...
