this is the project that i wanted to do sooo badly on my eclipse, but wrecked before i got the chance. great great potential, and relatively cheap cost compared to how much power you can gain..
anyways is anyone running any on their d series? home brewed or otherwise??

I've also been thinking of doing a water/alchohol injection. Of course I'll do it home brewed, not so hard to do, just gotta find the time(after I get a new bov, the egay one sucks)

drastically lowers air temps, allowing you to run more timing due to cooler air temps which= more power :TU: good for n/a AWESOME for FI applications due to the much higher temps the turbo causes

so there is water in the intake? i'm sorry i'm just trying to understand this whole thing
or methanol, or a mix, or smurf piss, there are a million combinations.. but it isn't like pouring water into your intake tract though. it is sprayed by an injector which makes the water into a very fine mist which evaporates once it is heated enough. when water evaporates, it abosorbs heat.

anyways anyone have pics of one being run on a d series? or a honda period?

ahh i get it now, so it's really just like having an injector in your intake, which inturn injects something(water, metanol, etc)into the intake which lowers the air temp, but is evaporated when it is heated enough, right?

exactly.. from my research running ethanol injection actually increases your octane rating. haven't run it in person yet, this is purely from something i have read.

AWESOME link for anyone looking at making a home brew kit:
