water and oil sender thread size
does anyone know what size the water temp sender and oil sender are ? i just bought some auto gage gauges (from summit racing.com....p/n atm-2391) i need to know what size thread they are ..in case i need to buy adapters . thanks

depends on what you mean by "fit". lol yes it will "fit" but it only goes in a few threads. its easy to find the correct fitting, autozone sells a bag of adapter fittings for the gauges they sell. thats where i got my 1/8 bspt to 1/8 npt fitting for my friend.okay ..will an 1/8 NPT fit ?

316 stainless fitting is $7.60 from Mcmaster-Carr. Autometer sells a brass one for about $6.
A note on the thread differences: Obviously, the thread count is different, but the angle of the thread and the peak and valley of the thread are different as well. That they are both 1/8" pipe is where the similarity ends.
