OK, i am gonna be running a DSM 14b (TD05). If i am correct the waistegate on them are set at 10PSI. I am not wanting to run that much. I would like to run around 7 or 8PSI. Is there any way to bring the PSI down?

On the other hand. How safe would 10PSI be if tuned good? I will b using UBERDATA to tune.

10psi tunned, the only way to do it... side note if you do go to 10psi i'd invested in head studs arp, to prevent headlift..

think about down the road if the head DOES lift at 10psi you'll be kicking yourself in the ass. turbo cars are finniky and love to give you shit. id reccomend doing the headstuds now, and while your at it a new oem timing belt and headgasket just in case. then boost :)

Are upgraded studs really needed at 10psi?

I haven't heard much about headlift on the D until you're over 15-20psi.

Yeah it does. @ 10psi my head was lifting and had to upgrade to arp headstuds. This was on a conservative tune also.
