vtec question

What is the best rpm for vtec to be activated?I see some chips that go over the stock rpm and some that go under and just wanted tho know at about what rpm setting would be the best.Any insights.thanks for ur time. :D

It is somewhere between 4800 and 5200 rpm. There are a few sites that have the info.
