I have a sohc non-vtec......Is there anything I can do to my head or engine that would make it perform faster and better than a vtec head....I don't wanna go out and get a vtec head...? thank you.

there is alot you can do. just put money into it, my DX with just basic bolt-ons will beat a stock EX all day.

Start of with a better IM like a y8. Maybe even boost it if you care to.
