Just got one of these for free (No remotes) and it has what looks like the relay expansion module on it. Is it worth the time for me to install this in my 93 Civic or should I just toss it into the yardsale pile. It was out of a 95 Integra

I personally wouldn't put a used alarm in my own car, unless I originally installed/removed it. But to answer your question, DEI makes great products and if you have every harness and cable, and the antenna, the siren, the hood pin, the shock sensor, the LED, and the programming button, and you can find one or two replacement transmitters, then yes it would be worth your time to install it. Post a picture of what you have and I can let you know if you're missing anything.

Might want to look at the price of a replacement key fob, my fob in my old coupe was wearing out after a few years and I looked at replacements which were 100$ for a new one. When the alarm cost me 130 brand new it made no sense to spend 100$ on a new fob.

I am not opposed to either solution. I will have to get all the stuff together and take pics of it. As of right now, I simply have keyless entry I wired in from an odyssey.

one thing about DEI is they offer no support. they direct you to the installer for help.

I got my DEI alarm straight from the distrib and the keyless entry didnt work. so to this day i have to open up with a key.
