d16y7 (not mine) 119,000 miles. A muffler guy listened to the valves and said damn, sounds like a freight train. These valves are making ALOT of noise. Yes there is oil in there, 5w30 I beleive, and even at idle if you walk around the car the head is producing alot of noise. Can anybody help me? Valves were last adjusted at 95,000 mi. Trust me they really dont sound good. This motor has no internal changes, just a y8 auto manifold and headers.

Is it that loud? Valves should not get really loud unless there is something mechanically wrong!

yeah, its pretty pretty noisey. But what can it be thats wrong? SHould I get my valves adjusted
