Hey whats up.

Would it be a good idea to get a valve job done while the head is off. I am building for 300whp.....................and the head has 170,000 miles on it. Would it be best to do it and freshen the head up a bit?

thanks

i like the idea of having a pretty much rebuilt head to go with my fresh motor

I would, when I get ready to build mine(hopefully soon ) I'm getting the head decked, a valve job, new springs, valves and retainers.

I'd throw some back-cut valves in like the ones Supertech or Omni Power makes.
