Hello guys.
This post serves as an update for whats going on with the D15B2/B7 Rods.

We have 2 DSO Testers which are currently doing testing of the rods.

Here is a preliminary result of the fitting of the rods into the block.

Video 1: No Notching.. Shows clearance from rod to sleeve. Its a bit difficult to get exact measures as the feeler gauge is flat and the surface is round, and space tight to reach all the way in but clearance is approx 1mm to contact on each side.

Video 2 : No Girdle notching. There is enough clearance from the rod bolt to the girdle. No notching will be required.. there's more than 2mm clearance.

Video 3: Deck height piston position.

Testers are currently finishing assembling the motors to actually start running the rods and boosting/tuning.

Thanks..

Looks like another great product in the making :)

Can't wait to see what kind of numbers Honda's other little workhorse puts out

Are these tolerances going to be sufficient when the crankshaft is spinning 8K to 9K RPM's?
1+mm is plenty of room. 2mm might as well be a mile.

Fucking awesome.

Now we can turn any old D15 into a boost beast.

What would the compression look like with Vitaras + a VTEC head? Also are you doing standard length as well?

He said previously they are same length as jdm d15b rods, which I believe are 137mm. If that's the case, Zeal shows 7.67cr all else oem. z6 head bumps it to 8.10, y8 to 8.35.

sweet hopefully these come out by end of the summer so next year i can put alot of boost to the b7. this summer is gonna be a low boost small turbo setup, then if everything works out with these rods next summer will be bigger turbo high boost.

With a standard D15 crank, they'll be out of the block on 137mm rods.
136mm rods would fit better.
Didn't even look at p2d. FML.

rods are not 137mm... They should be 136.40mm

Thanks for clarifying.

That puts all else oem cr at 7.37, 7.92 with vtec head. Looks good.
