looking to upgrade my ebay special for something better. i know that the water2air would be the best at doing its job but dont want to go that route so its in between two (a2a) types. bar-plate VS tube-fin. Ive read/heard that the bar and plate is better over all? but i know of a friend that is selling his JRC intercooler and have heard great things about both. my goal is 330-420whp @20-25lbs of boost

im sure both could support my goals id just like to verify and have others input

the 2 types of intercoolers im looking into buying are
1: $120 JRC 8" (jonny race car) tube and fin (USED)
2: $80-150 PTE precision 350 bar and plate (USED)

Bar and plate flows better internally at the cost of cooling efficiency. Tube and fin has better external aerodynamics, Which causes for better cooling at the expense of flow. Most high hp builds use a bar and plate core because it still does its job well and flows amazingly. Id go bar and plate in your case also
