Manifold Type - mini ram
Exhaust Diameter - 3" turbo back, no cat
Begin Spool @ RPM - 2600rpm
Max Psi @ RPM - 10 psi at 3800 rpm
# HP, # TQ - ? never been dynoed
1/4 mile time - never run the quarter

Manifold = made of old ssautocrap flanges and thick wall tubing
Exhaust Diameter = 2.5in
Begin Spool @ RPM 2900
Max Psi @ RPM 8psi @ 4500

mrfunktastic, it seems like your set-up works pretty well, that is a nice RPM to begin spool and it's also good to have 10psi on a t3/t4 57 trim by 3800rpm on a d-series.

anyone else?

spool varies with the tune to, add fuel and retard timing to promote earlier boost building

i lowered my full boost point by 750rpm simply by tuning a bit


Engine - 235,000 stock z6
Turbo -t3/t4 .50ar col .63ar hot used off ebay
Manifold Type - cast ebay, ported polished and heat wrapped
Exhaust Diameter -2.5" all the way back
Begin Spool @ RPM -3750ish depending on the gear and if the clutch feels like holding
Max Psi @ RPM -11psi all the way up to fuel cut
# HP, # TQ -
1/4 mile time -

Turbo - Ebay 57/63 "50" trim
Manifold Type - i/m= Edelbrock victor X E/m= ebay cast
Exhaust Diameter - 3" turbo back no cat
Begin Spool @ RPM - 3200
Max Psi @ RPM - 17psi @ around 5000
# HP, # TQ - 272Whp 245wtq

Exhaust Diameter - 3" DP, 3" crush bent
Begin Spool @ RPM - 3k
Max Psi @ RPM - 21psi @ 4200(high load, high gear)
# HP, # TQ - 221/187 @ 10.5psi(didnt run 21psi on dyno)
1/4 mile time -12.87 @ 109mph

Stock D16y7 with ARP head studs - 124,xxx miles

Master Power Turbo .42/.48

Mini ram horn and stock z6 IM

2.5" downpipe with high flow cat to 2 1/4" magnaflow exhaust
Tiny turbo, mini ram horn = really quick spool. 2000rpm starts spooling around, full boost by 4000rpm maybe sooner.

14psi around 4000rpm

178whp and 16X trq on a dyno that is quoted to be 50whp off. Dyno is only a tool for tuning not an exact figure.

13.343 @ 101mph with a 1.802 60 foot. = Made possible by MH 24.5 inch slicks on lensos, also a beefy traction bar and stage 4 clutch.
