okay im trying for 400hp and just finished reading maximum boost the other day and going with the formulas in the book i have a max airflow rate of 45lbs/min 10k rpm and a median of 22.5 at 5k with a pressure ratio of 2.7 i have found out by reading the compressor maps of the turbos that i guessed would be in the size range that i need at my max airflow rate at the pressure ratio of 2.7 im around max efficincy for that turbo which is good its normaly around 75% to 80% but at my median airflow im to the left of the surge line almost all the way down from there to the point of 20% of max airflow at a pressure ratio of 1. is this something i should be worried about or something that i should just expect because of the amount of hp im trying to make the closest one i found to being in spec was gt3782 82mm 52 trim .54a/r just looking for some input.

hey go-autoworks you wouldnt happen to have a compressor map for the spec turbo on your site would you?
I"ll get it.

You aren't going to be reving to 10K on a mostly stock D-series.
This is true...you generally won't rev to 10k on a very built D series

the s256 was one of the first maps i looked at and it is close but im still to the left of the surge line slightly
The S256 is a great matchup
