i am starting my built on my 98 ex w/ the d16y8 i have the car striped out as of right now and am stuck on which direction to go when i get the block back from sleeving i want to have a competative drag car but i want it to handle tightly on the street and for the few times i travel to a road course should i be useing a turbo or a supercharger? will i get tomuch lag with a turbo on a road course? or am i just trying to do too much with one car?

small turbos spool quick ... which is good for autox ... but bad for all out drag ... with the right setup ( suspension, brakes ) and a good turbo with not too much lag .. you would be killer on autox .. and probally be able to hold your on on the 1/4 ..... a boosted d16y8 can knock down a few .. you cant have all three ( comfort , drag , autox ) so choose two of those and work from there .. reduce the weight of that car as much as you can .. and just get a really good suspension ( less wheel hop in drag , needed for autox )
