ok so i took apart my spare tranny.
took most of the parts out as per helms manual, but now i got to the point where i am trying to remove the main and countershaft assembly.
the interlock guide bolt (inside where the clutch sits) will not budge, and in fast i may be damaging the bolt with my allen key...

is there an alternate way to get the main and counter shaft bearings off so i can change out the input shaft bearing and put in my new lsd?

Well you can but the only other way I know of is a bitch! You have to remove all the dowel pins from the shift fork assembly and the shafts will eventualy come out. Get an impact driver with an allen head that should do the trick. I picked one up 5 years ago from Harbor Freight for 15 bucks. I still use the piss out of it. Looks like one of these:
