Hi guys! I have a 87 Civic D15A2 with an auto trans that I want to swap to a manual trans. Any thoughts on what transmission will bolt on with the least fabrication?

Any D series except D17 bolts up, I believe.
If you want the better stock form look for a S20 on the tag, then locate the casting numbers on the back side above the diff on the case, you want P20 and B000 for short ratio or P20 A000 for tall ratio. Do searching here, plenty of good info.
You will need to purchase or fabricate a mount for the passenger mount to body.
