Disregard the title please:) I have a problem with my family's civic. D16Z6, the car is all stock. It turns on and goes in gear but when we give it gas to start moving it, it doesn't move. The forks in the transmission work and the master clutch slave cylinder engages. Also a manual car is not suppose to move when engaged in gear and we can push the car when it is in gear. Did anybody have a problem like this in the past? Please and thank you! in advance.

axles.

so, what youre saying is, the clutch engages, you can shift gears, but the car doesn't move. and when left in gear, you can still push the car around.

correct?

Yea sounds like an axle pop out.

Had an axle break on me and had to change it on the side of the road.
Car wouldnt move no matter how much i rev and the clutch and trans was fine.

So jack her up and make sure both axle as flush on the trans.

Forget all the guessing and answer this, does the speedometer go up when it is in gear and clutch let out?

If yes then axle popped out.

If not then clutch disc or burnt tranny (likely a clutch problem).
