If you check the engine building forum, I'm drawing up designs for a D16 NA with lofty (they say I'm nuts, yes, possibly certifiable) torque numbers. What is suggested to make the tranny (automatic) handle 250 ft. lbs. I called my tranny guy Thursday only to find out he passed away late last year. Showing my age, ain't I. Motors, I'm comforable with but transmission work was something I always sent to a pro. My brain isn't large enough to cope with information on more than one thing at a time. Right now, the motor decisions are taxing my brain to it's limit.

automatic??????

Not gonna hold, atleast not very long!!!!!!

Bands too small, not enough valve pressure capacity, etc.

Then your stuck with a peg leg and no makes a Posi/LSD for the automatic.
