Number #1 guys.
In the history of the series. A honda has never been first in a race.
First team to put a honda on the grid and take it to first place.

What a Driver. Finally somebody who can handle the power. And it all fell together like a dream for us.

Qualified 2nd. On the grid. Then walked away from the competition even laping a few cars. After the driver built up enough lead he backed off to conserve the engine and Tyres.

What a race. Pics and videos coming soon. My first time wining a race at this level.

How are those 17" tires working out for you? Looks like you've got PLENTY of under-car clearance now to take it off-road. LOL!

Thanks guys couldnt have done it without you.
I dedicate this Tuners Trophy to all of you. To everybody who has helped me with a post, information, idea, and even parts.

Luck had nothing to do with it. Last race we did not have octane or a driver. This race we had both. Its the same engine.

We dont have much ground clearance, but its better than the 13" they gave us last year. The compound is not so good. But yeah huge improvement over the 13" Im proud that my team played a role in fighting for and getting the grid to move to 17s. Can you imagine trying to put down 150+ ft/lbs of torque from 4000 RPM with 13" street tires. It was a joke.

@Cynide still havent got my hands on the time sheets. But one thing I can confirm is that we had the fastest lap for the race weekend with a 1:13.7

I know our package is capable of getting into the low 12s easy. And my final target is to hit the 11s. Right now they cant even use half the power the engine makes. Thanks to poor suspension and Rubber. Low 12s can be done if JK give us a new batch of tires.
Anyway next race is going to be fun. Its a full blown hard core racing, high speed circuit in Chenai.
Hope there is less bumping there. Cause if you bump on a high speed circuit its bad news for both cars.

Thanks guys. Im the Technical Director. We have a crew chief, a mechanic, an electrician that assist me. And a suspension consultant, a composites specialist that is responsible for body panels, door, boots etc. My Job is Engine Design, Intake, Exhaust, Head, Valve Train, Drive Line. And ECU Mapping. Id like to think that my Team is one of the best in the country. We hope to prove it this year.
We had our first win on the same day we completed 1 year in Racing. Most of the teams on the grid have been doing this for 15 years. And it was a field where Suzuki rulled the roost for 15 long years. In fact till the first race of the season. A honda has never even placed.

Like a Guru Told Me Racing is all about the complete package. You cant have one more important than the other.
Its all about who does the best job of getting all the right components in place. Power, Reliability, Handling and Driver.
In racing it happens by itself. The best engine guy will want to work with the best suspension guy. And The best driver will want the most powerful reliable best handling car on the grid.

Its also about the only serious action in town racing wise. Other than the street racing scene. Where your fast if you have a manifold and loud exhaust. Or an Engine swap.

Here is a video as promised. Sorry we dont have any fancy video equipment:
Our Driver Name is Arjun Balu.
In this race we where rammed off the track while leading the race. The guy who hit us was found guilty and given a 20 second penalty.

The Race we won.

There are 3 Honda's on the grid watch closely.
One is the Blue Ex Tiger2 which left our team. And there is one more.
In round 1 there where 4 Honda's.

Chk out the lead we have on the field.
Tyres are free man. We get one set of Dry and one set of Wets every race weekend.
Which is both good and bad news. Good news cause its free. And bad news cause we have no control over the quality or variations from batch to batch.
Im trying to get a g-pro so we can get some in car action of the race.
