Hi,

I was thinking about this turbo.
A Gt30-1
Specs:
Turbine Housing AR:A/R.63
Turbine Outlet: 5 BOLT STANDARD HOT SIDE
Comp. Housing AR: A/R.70
Compressor Inlet: 4" INLET DIAMETER
Compressor Outlet: 2.55" OUTLET
Turbine Wheel: *56-65.25 trim:71
Comp. Wheel: *61.4-82 trim:64

My HP-Goal is around 300 hp,
This is my speclist:
D16Z2 block
Z6 Head
75mm Vitara
Eagle H beam rods
ARP Headstuds
Y8 Intake manifold
60mm TB
525cc Precisions
2.5 inch piping
MSD Ignition

Is this turbo good for this setup?
I hope that ya all can help me.
Thanks,

Justin

Seems to me that 525s would be too small for that big of a turbo, it may run way too lean. But i dont know jack shit about building turbo Ds, i could be completely wrong

Get the FJT rods for Vitara setup so you can raise compression ratio up to around 8.5:1..regular eagles rods will cause you to have really low compression and the GT2860RS aka Disco potato will give you a nice power band..

GT 30-1??

I think people here are replying based on a Garrett 3071R or 3076R...which would not be the same as what you listed.

Yah thats the same as sc6256. Alot bigger then what people are thinking. Its overkill for sure. I like the T3T4 50 trims personally.
