well i thinking of trying to build i nice little stroker motor. i would be using a d16 block with a d17 crank offset ground 3mm, this way i could utilize vx rods and have a 97mm stroke. i thinking of oversized gx pistons, and a y8 head with a custom cam. does anybody foresee any problems with this setup. i realize this is a bit sketchy but maybe you ll get the idea.

i'd have to use vx rods because the rod journals would be to small for d16 rods. 3mm smaller =d15 rod journals and what do you mean by the block isn t wide enough?

with the increase stroke of the D17 crank and the 3mm offset grinding of the rod journals, the rods will hit the oil pan rails on the block.
