So, at last I am finally here to showcase my build, as I have returned to the mighty D!

After some major issues last year, having to sell my EG and losing my 01 BMW (along with my license), i'm scrambling to get everything going again.

For reference, here's a shot of my EG:

Ok ok, enough water works. Haha.. The new project was supposed to be a sub $1200 budget. ... Supposed to be. Unfortunately it ended up being quite a bit more than i anticipated!

Details on the build:
90 CRX DX Shell
D15B7 block
NPR Piston Rings
King rod bearings
ARP Rod bolts
D16A6 Head
Milled .024" (~10.06:1 comp)
Very mild port cleanup with exhaust polished to sh*t (by me)
Cleaned, recut valves and seats
D16A6 Cam and valvetrain
Y8 Cam Gear
D16Z6 Intake Manifold
AEM Full CAI
91 CRX Si tranny (no grinds!)
8lb Aftermarket Flywheel
Stock clutch
Staged flywheel (yay freebie)
Brand new radiator (yay)
+tons of other tiny $$ consuming crap!

And, finally, after a massive detail and multiple wax sessions, here's how she sits today:

This car has been hard on the pocket book (especially one that is empty due to being unemployed!) but has been well worth it. The motor is amazing and will spin tire in 1st gear just by jumping on the throttle and spin them into second every time. Havent tried too hard for third gear.. But the car has power everywhere! I think its faster than my old build, even though it has lower compression.

Soon to come are some H&R lowering springs. For whatever reason, the front end of this car sits way higher than any other stock crx i've seen.. No idea why.

Agreed. I should be coming up on some H&R springs for free soon.. Then she will be sitting pretty. I cant wait to get her low either >.<

Thanks! Unfortunately the bottlecaps are nowhere near as clean as in the photos.. thry're stained pretty badly with brake dust that not even brake cleaner will get off. Was thinkin about painting them...

Any recommendations on color?

Updates: Wheels (rpf1), corners, seat/harnesses, roll bar, rear disc. Unseen changes, upgraded from D15B7 to D16A6 bottom end.
