Besides the intake manifold and ecu and wiring does anybody know of any more differences in 96-98 and 99-00 d16y8?

Trying to identify possible problems ahead of time.

96-98 is known as obd2a and 99-00 as obd2b Plugs on wiring harness is different. It is sayd that obd2b is more restrictive than obd2a

Hello.........I'm a noob so bare with me......I have a 99 DX htch and I don't have a rpm gauge. Thinking about getting a si gauge cluster, but I was wondering...What's the red line for a stock D16Y7??? Is it 6.5 or 6.7....??? Since I don't have a rpm gauge...is it possible to tell when to shift by looking at mph??? for instance going to 3rd at 35mph...??? Right now i shift just by listening to the engine... HELP???
