first you figure out where you want it. the you take out your gauge cluster, be carefull with the trim piece it pretty old and probably brital. next remove the gauge cluster. you have to pull it out a little, reach your hand behind it, and unplug the connectors. the connector should have a solid blue wire. your going to use that for the tach input. then hook up your power to any key-up power (power only on when ignition is on) the you hook up the power wire for the light of the tach to the parking lamp swith circut. then hook your ground up.
