I know there is a "zc" style aftermarket hood, and I am contemplating a dohc zc swap into my crx si, just wondering if the stock hood will clear...Got some more questions, but i'll post them elsewhere

I had to cut the webbing out of my hood to make it stop rubbing against the timing cover. If you don't it rubs it makes this horrible loud ass grumble.

we have done around 3 dozen ZC swaps and haven't had a problem with most stock hoods - on some cars that have had previous front end damage and weren't put back together correctly, they may rub a little, in which case we just cut out the webbing - on the Si models that have the sound deadening blanket on the bottom side of the hood, we have had to cut a little hole in the blanket

a word of caution about ZC CF hoods from Ebay - we have seen several of these hoods that have the ZC "bubble" on the top, but when you turn them over, they are just flat like a stock hood (not indented to clear timing cover) - check it out before you buy!
