Hmmm, the myth is you can swap an Integra power steering gear in the EK to gain some L to L.

The hard part is IDR if you swap to an Integra U joint or not though...

But if a power EG is the same, I have a spare one for you.

Im confused
yea me too. No idead what the hell he is trying to do.

I can say this tho.

I swap out my friends 98 ps rack for a manual rack.
ON the PS setup. The ps rack is bigger then the steering wheel gear.

ON the manual rack both are the same size.

we comb the junk yard and all the 6th gen civic were PS.

found a 5th gen civic (eg) i believe, the rack U joint from it work. Both ends where the same size.

hes using a 92-95 subframe and manual steering rack with a 96-00 steering column. the column is thicker/different tooth count than the steering rack.

where Im confused is, does the 92-95 4 door work? does the 92-95 power u-joint work?

So if Xile is right, the EK uses the Integra sized steering gear. I think the EG power was the same on both sides, but I didn't look too hard either.

But your part # matched on the power rack... lol...

OK, read that.

Im not using a power rack and looping to go manual steering.

I think that would be an awesome route to go if I stayed power though. I had no idea the teggy pinion fit EK power racks

I was thinking more along the lines of expanding your search options.

I think I will add "swapping manual rack into integra"

that might have a bit more search options
