Well, we toyed w/the idea of going sleeved/forged this year, but decided to do another Vitara build instead and just step things up a bit from the old setup. We'll see how she holds up!

We are hoping for low 10's-high 9's at 142+mph this year. 500+whp.
Here are the current build specs, which may change slightly as we progress. I'll keep this updated as changes take place.

Engine:
Stock sleeve D16Z6 block & crank (block is step decked .0065)
75mm Vitara pistons, Custom length FJT I-beam rods
Custom 4 layer OEM HG (needed to achieve .0325 P2H clearance)
King bearings
AdvancedStreetPerformance Ported D16Y8 head, stock valves (175cfm stock, 225+cfm now!)
3 angle VJ
Supertech valvesprings & retainers
Ported & shimmed oil pump
Zex 59500 cam for now (custom Bisimoto cam soon)
Golden Eagle IM (newer redesigned version)
Thermal IM gasket
68mm Omni Power TB

Drivetrain:
D16Y8 tranny w/ ZC 1.346 3rd & VX 1.066 3rd as 4th.
OBX LSD
Stock axles
Action 2MD clutch
Competition Clutch flywheel
Hasport billet mounts, 94A durometer (hardest available)

Turbo setup:
Precision SC6262SP .82 a/r
SpeedFactory topmount manifold
SpeedFactory 2qt. catchcan setup
SpeedFactory aluminum charge piping
Tial 44mm WG
Tial Q BOV
Precision 600hp core intercooler
3" dp and exhaust

Fueling, etc.
Hondata S300
SpeedFactory 4 bar MAP
Stock ignition for now
Precision 1000's
Walbro 255HP
Upgraded wiring/relay

We just got it up and running in basic NA form, all seems good. 19-20in/vac, idles perfectly. We performed the break-in and Dyno tuned it in NA form just for kicks, now it's time to build the turbo setup!

Here's a crappy phone pic of how she looks right now, things will be cleaned up and modified when we turbo it. I'll post the NA dyno charts tomorrow. :)

Yeah, manifold is sick huh? hahaha

We just threw a stock exh manifold and stock cat on it to break it in. Its actually mated to a 3" exhaust, and is stupid loud even with the cast mani and cat. Sounds like crap!

I have been waiting for you James you think the stock ignition will take you there? I cant wait to see this beast roll out my god the people you must have pissed off the last few years. Time to piss off some more lol. And my god that turbo is huge. And I love that GE intake mani keep up the great work

looks good... damn that turbo is big... hope you like that cam... same one im running now... engine bay looks really clean... hope the pistons hold up over 500 hp... oh and for the tranny lol, i hope it doesnt explode...

the 10 sec build of jfk78 was the inspiration for my build, and now this build,

+500 FTW, I´ll be tracking this post everyday

Just out of curiosity... The people who ported your head.. ASP? does it spand for something. I did a google search and couldnt find anything.

nice, i wish i had the money to make that much power on a single cam..

sure would shut alot of srt owners out here the fuck up which would be nice, but they're all pussies, and only race from a roll, none wanna race me at the track hahahahaha :)

anyways yea very nice i wanna see dyno vids for sure
