I think the engine just needs new spark plugs, from 2000 rpms to 3000 rpms it's a little boggish, then it's normal from 3000 rpms and on, what do you think, should I try some new plugs? or what else could be signs of goin? the car only has 101,000 miles on it (d15)

Mind as well do it all. Plugs wires cap and rotor. Get the resistance on the coil and igniter while your in there. There must be a step by step on here to do that!

Not to highjack, but, I am having the same problem. My question is, is there any danger in going over say 4,000RPM on an engine with 130,000 miles? Its a 98 EX with no mods.

If you never take it over 4000 RPM you probably have some carbon buildup in your motor. 130,000 on a Honda motor means its just broke in:cool:

That's nothing! Last night it was -10 outside. I went outside and started her up then floored it to hear the engine sound for a few minutes. I do that every day it's cold and my motor has 300k on it it's fine. (just kidding)
