Sure enough, when the head is off you'll see the empty threaded hole on teh back of the block, put the sensor in there.
If you got an automatic and auto Y8 ecu, make sure your intake manifold & t/b are both from a Y8 auto, that seems obvious. The knock sensor uses a 2-wire round plug (same as water temp, VTEC pressure, p/s pressure, manual Y8 IACV) except it just has 1 wire going into it.
Here's the link on where to hook it up. You just need a length of wire with an ecu pin on it to put in the ecu connector:
Need a second opinion here:
I have an 89 CRX Hf that had working AC, not amazing, but it worked. I assume it was R12 as there were no converter nipples going on.
A while back someone hit let head on, broke the radiator and mangled the condenser, but didn't rupture it.
I decided since I was...
Long time reader, first time poster.
So, I have a 1995 Civic Ferio Vi, with a D15B (two stage vtec) engine in it. Imported from Japan, so all JDM parts.
But... Something backed off the bolt on my main pulley (AKA harmonic balancer), and it got damaged. So, now to find one.
For you say anything I've done the search of done four searches and after getting to the 20th page I give up . My plan is to use a D15B7 and put the Max peating rod rods which are higher at 134.5 mm which is only at half a millimeter larger than stock rods. Along with this I plan for a z6 head...
