ZC FTW, the D15B i think is a great motor but the ZC is a 1.6L. The D15B uses custom pistons which could become a problem later down the line if you decide to build the motor. while the ZC is pretty much a D16Z6 which has tons of parts here in the states at your disposal. I had to make this choice a month ago and i went with SOHC ZC Vtec (OBD1 Version)
the zc he is talkin about is compared to an a6.... if your looking for ease of install then just go with the zc and also if you plan to build the motor then pistons are custom for the d15 liek said above
If you want to upgrade the bottomend I would go for the ZC but Im making just a little over 200 with my boosted D15b V-tec and have plenty of room for improvement. It all depends on your goals.
D15B would be kinda boarder line for 200 whp but i suppose with a good tune and not driving the living piss out of it you would run it on stock internals. But the ZC deffinatly has alot more window for oppritunity for upgrading internals
sohc zc non-vtec. better to boost than a d15b vtec.
