My car has poly bushings and an aftermarket shifter. At first, I thought the previous owner didn't put it on right but found different when I was under the car. I can grab the bracket that is held by the bitch pin and it wobbles back and forth. Is this a worn pin or are the shift forks bent or ????? If it's the pin, can I just drill it out and put a heavy duty bolt and nut in there and tighten it down? Can that piece be welded to the trans shaft?? Don't care about rebuilding down the road as I'll just get a different trans....

It's in a 92 Civic LX 4 door....

How secure is the shifter stabilizer bar? The shift-rod itself shouldn't wobble too much if the shifter stabilizer bar is mounted securely.
