I know there is a difference in the 88 trannys and the 89 to 91 trannys. If I remember right it is the spline..... Anyways I have an 88 CRX Si with the 88 Si tranny bolted up to the sohc ZC. I have an 89 Si tranny lined up but not sure if it will work. Would a clutch help this or what do I need to make this 89 work?

Thanks,
Bryan

89 Si needs 89 clutch to keep your current PP/flywheel, or change to a 212 mm 90-91 clutch flywheel combo.

BTW 4,000 posts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOHOO!!!!!!!!

Bump for a good guy. How's the z-rex holding up? Ever take it to the track? Teggy ALMOST got parted out due to a bad tranny and the ones at salvage yards costing 6-700 bucks. Found a guy with a wrecked 94 GSR automatic (rear ended by cement truck) and he'll sell me his trans for $200!!! I gave him cash to hold until the end of the month. Going to try to make the meet and hope to see you there!
