Use large volume chamber straight through mufflers.

Magnaflow works great.

If you can not get a turbo straight through exhaust quiet, you are doing something wrong and do not understand how the exhaust/muffling system works.

Baffling + Turbo exhaust = Fail

The quicker you can get gasses out the hotside the better.

Use two, has no one one seen my setup? it's very cheap and one of the quietest.

Stuff a round one under the rear seat, as big as you can fit in the back tuck it up high spray paint it black use a turn down. Both 14 inches long at least. 28 inches of muffler.

If drone, make a resonator pipe, Dan covered it.

I also use a vibrant resonator under the shift linkage ish 18 inch.

That Dia is a little hard to fit under the tunnel.

Especially when the people building your exhaust are a bunch of dipshits, like at Richtuned, Auburn Wa.

I unbolted it from the downpipe and it dropped 3 inched because it was hanging on DP, not the hangers. Needless to say I'm pissed as it broke my flex pipe.

Exhaust shops are harder to come by, it's almost the most important part.

I was thinking of getting this muffler to quiet my loud ass car down. What do you guys think? It has 2 inches outside of the strait through section, instead of 1 and 1 1/2.

O I thought that one was strait through. Yeah I guess I'll have to get a 24 x 7 body.

Eh? Magnaflow 12772 7" Round SS Diesel Muffler 4" in Out 24" Body 30" Long | eBay

Do you think it will even make it quieter?
You do realize the outer diameter of the 2 you posted are 8" around. IDK where you plan on putting it.

I totally get your looking for alot of volume to absorb sound..

I had the $30 thrush glasspack and a thrush offset muffler on the Fit and it was reasonably quiet even with both of my cat converters deleted. Sounded smoothly and throaty under load and sounded great when the high cam kicked in.

***Purchased at autozone. piping from a local shop in Texas at time

I used 2inch inlets/outlets and 2inch piping. You can go to 2.25 if you dont mind seeing a smidgeon less low end

I fab every inch of my exhaust, so no idiots but myself on this one. I have NO room to put anything with this 4 inch exhaust except where the gas tank was and back where the muffler goes.

Yes, I measured and re measured, an 8 inch diameter 24 inch long body will fit where normal mufflers go. But, I cannot find an 8 inch strait through, just 7, so it will definitely fit. It won't be as low as my dp that goes below the oil pan. It is 1/4 inch off the oil pan and about 2 inches from the ground.

I highly recommend vibrant products, I have a vibrant street performance muffler and it was decently quiet with a great tone, I added a vibrant 14" resonator recently and it made it super quiet until my screamer pipe opens on my wastegate. If your not looking for an oval type "muffler" just use two vibrant 18" resonators, they are designed the same internally just the Oval type will absorb more sound from what I have read.

Stay away from Flowmaster like the plague.
Magnaflow too

Had one rusting and they wouldnt warranty it. told me to sand the rust off. which in a week the rust was back since they decide to use cheaper stainless with iron in it. Im not going to point out the "irony" here.
