So my shifter feels real sloppy. Like when its in gear, i can move it left to right. Like almost if i was in first, i could wiggle it so much, it could reach 3rd gear...if that makes sense.

do i just need the energy stabilizer bushings or is it something else

i have the same problem. nothing i've done has made enough difference to mention, but here's a list of what i've replaced trying to get rid of the slop:

plastic bushing that goes around the ball in the middle of the shifter
energy suspension bushing kit
entire shift linkage
bitch pin
transmission

the only thing left to try is the bearings in the bottom of the shifter.

did you replace the top bushing? there are the ones that go thru the shifter, where the bolt goes into...then if you travel upwards...

i believe its called the stabilizer bushing. did you try that one?

that's part of the es kit and it did absolutely nothing. the biggest help was replacing a work bitch pin but all that did was take about 1/4 of the 1" off slop out.
