I'm going with oem vitara build z6 head and z1 bottom end.

i want to use the oem z1 pistons i have now. i got the bore rehoned.
but the bore was measured service limit specs to hair over it.
is it necessary to have ptw clearance for boost with oem pistons?
i haven't measured the piston to figure out the ptw clearance yet but was notified by my shop that the bore is service limit.

oem+PTW clearance for boost?????

or should i have the piston replaced?

(is NPR pistons ok? what material brand is this? if i go change the pistons what ptw clearance i should go?)

Is it NPR or NRP... there is a difference.

PTW clearance for boost being a bit loose isn't bad. But have they been checked for roundness and taper? Those are things that PTW clearance can't tell you about.

Its NPR pistons and rings are these good. is this the vitara type or the oem replacement types?

Ok i have the specs the machine shop measured for me top middle bottom.
he told me that the cylinder number one has ware top area.
i posted a pic of the measurements of the bore

i forgot to ask for the piston specs but he told me that these where ok.

should i go with newer set of pistons? are these readings ok?

Gap your rings accordingly. Will be fine.

Loose is good, when compared to factory specs.

Lots of unfortunate people have put the gap at OEM, and wondered why a simple 160-200whp turbo build lasted far less time on a rebuild or refresh than people boosting stock 200k+ mile motors

btw...Vitara means Suzuki Vitara, so you are either using Suzuki Vitara pistons or honda (oem or aftermarket) pistons.
