Just changed intake manifold gasket (gasket had bad cracks, causing pulsing idle).

Idle is great now, but when I shift gears around 2.5 to 3k, the idle flutters up like 50 to 100rpm while I have the clutch in.

Its not much, but what could be causing that? Thanks

Shot in the dark, but check for vacuum leaks... starting with the gasket, then all the tubing.

Has it always done this?

Do you have the stock flywheel?

Have you checked your throttle cable?
NOpe, just started doing it after I fixed the pulsing idle. I have a lightened flywheel, 12lb. I did screw with throttle cable when trying to fix the pulsing idle, i will have to check that this weekend and let you know. THanks for the reply.
