im rebuilding my spare y7. im having trouble finding out how to find the bearing clearance. The crank wasnt regrinded or anything and im getting wierd numbers. i havent tried the mains yet because im not sure if these are rirght.

i matched the crank/rod #s and letters
rod 1-C3 (brown)
rod 2-C4 (Black)
rod 3-B3 (green)
rod 4-B4 (Brown)

rod 1
crank - .7711"
rod - .8898"
clearance .1187"

rod 2
crank - .7711"
rod - .8900"
clearance .1189"

rod 3
crank - .7713"
rod - .8896"
Clearance .1183"

rod 4
crank - .7712"
rod - .8900"
clearance .1188"

now the rod bearing thickness chart..
Blue 1.510-1.507 mm 0.0594”- 0.0593”
Black 1.507-1.504 mm 0.0593”- 0.0592”
Brown 1.504-1.501 mm 0.0592”- 0.0591”
Green 1.501-1.498 mm 0.0591”- 0.0590”
Yellow 1.498-1.495 mm 0.0590”- 0.0589”
Pink 1.495-1.492 mm 0.0589”- 0.0587”
Red 1.492-1.489 mm 0.0587”- 0.0586”

my numbers are like .05 off. what am i doing wrong?

edit: if i subtract the bearing size from the block stamps from my measurements i get
rod 1 .0595
rod 2 .0596
rod 3 .0592
rod 4 .0596

am i suppost to subtract .059X from the measurements? heeellppp

bearing thickness= inside diameter - outside diameter - 2xbearing thickness?

so i would divide the clearance number by 2?
