distributer trouble need help asap!!!!

could someone help me with this? i'm taking a 93 si distributer and wiring it on my 89 si harness. the one clip has the blue and black wires done that now problem. the other clip has orange -or/blue blue/green-blue/yellow beige/blue and then two biege wires the other clip i have to put on has all the same wires except it only has two beige wires and a green/yellow my harness has three beige so i wired the extra beige to green/yellow now my car won't start but is getting spark to all cylinders could i have the two beige wires crossed? to are sold beige one is beige with a blue trase

i was told i can't use that distributer i have to use the a6 and cut the ends.thats what i did before and the shaft in the distributer bent so i'm a little worried about buying another one and it gets bent to.
