I'm running a D16z6, at 9psi around 180-200bhp at the moment.

My rev limit is set to 7211, and the tune is pretty safe.

I'm just wondered what the standard limits are.

I want a bit more from it.

Where can i gain power?

More boost, more rev's more timing?

I thought about a bit more boost 11psi maybe. But where would it break a rod? Peak torque or higher in the RPMs?

I could gradually feed the boost in, or i could keep 9psi but rev it a bit harder.

Just wanting a bit of feedback.

With a good tune, you can net 230hp on stock everything. 11 psi on a T3/T4 will get you there...what turbo are you running? Keep the limiter where it's at.

I had gone as far as 281whp/237tq @ 15psi on a stock wore out z6 bottom end with a t3/t4 57 trim. But anything from 220-240HP is pretty safe. It's all on your tune.

Amazing!

I'm on a t3/4 57 trim.

9psi.

I'm guessing at 180 as it performs about the same as a ep3 CTR of a friends, he has 220bhp, but weighs 15% more than me.

Yeap, that is why I don't recommand anybody to do it unless you have another car to get around and don't mind swapping block:D
I could do with a spare block, but i have more car's to use.

And could do with a forged block to be honest.

So i might give it 11psi daily for a while.

My standard MAP sensor is reading to 11.2, so thats my limit on there as well.

Could do with a 3 bar unit but need the calibrations for 1 as i haven't got a mitivac.
