I'm going to be removing the clutch and flywheel from a 89 b6 to mat it to a b7 w/ 89 DX tranny. I'm going to replace the rear main seal. I was thinking I should replace the pilot bearing as well? What about the throw out bearing?

tap out, tap in......if in doubt, replace it........

I've never replaced mine......240k miles

but a bad inputshaft bearing move the load out to the pilot bearing. I've never had a tranny bearing failure......yet......
