Well... Let me start by saying im a noob and a joke. Searched everywhere dont think anyones as dumb as me.

But... I removed my head in the tightening pattern... Should it be okay or do I need a new head?

Beyond rookie mistake. Ive done 2 swaps but im new with actually taking apart a engine.

And I wanted to do a LSVTEC in a month haha at this rate i should prob wait...

NO HATE!!

ROOKIE...... naaah it will be fine, nothing you can do about it now besides put it back on and tighten in correct sequence then remove in correct sequence before you move on to assembling the engine :whistling:

Youre not going to warp a head loosening it unless you try prying it up with bolts still in, so don't worry about it

as long as the head was not really hot when doing it, you are probably safe.

the best way to do it, even if wrong sequence, is to crack loose the bolts less tha a full turn, and make your full pass/sweep.

this way tension is relieved mostly from the bolts right away
