Hello all. Kinda emergency I'm new to civics, I have a 98 Dx, d16y7. Last night I put in a new ex cluster, removed the 2.5in sunpro rpm gauge. It was connected with both power to the fuse box, grounded in the engine bay, and the green wire was wired into the distributor. Like a hole drilled through the cap then wired on to the coil in it. So i removed said wire, unbolted the ground, and removed power wires in fuse box. Now it won't start. So I installed a new distributor.

It's getting spark, and fuel. Timing was done 2 months ago by a shop. Been running strong until I removed the rpm gauge.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

How exactly were the power wires connected? Wondering if removing the power wires to the gauge is causing something else not to get power

Did you use a brand new distributor when you replaced it?
