does anyone happen to know whether ventilating the crankcase would significantly hinder the ability of the stock pump? i'm just musing on this and it seems likely that any loss of pressure in the bottom end would cause some loss of oil pressure but i can't think of ways to fix on that without needing a costly dry sump system.

huh? the pick-up itself is under a good two quarts of oil. idk if the pressure in the crankcase is high enough to effect the oil. now if you exposed the crankcase to pressure from boost.....
