What is the redline on a D16y7 I just got a tach.

7100?? isn't that rev limit. my friends 98 lx redline is about 6700 - 6800.

hell my d16y8 redline is 6800 - 6900 and revlimit is 7200

dx redline is 7100. ex is 7200.

on my tach my redline shows it at 6800 - 6900 when I hit 7200 the fuel cut off kicks in. so I don't know about that 7200

Every tach is gonna read differently...so for some it would show 6800 and others 7200.

Fuel cut off on my car is hit about 6900rpm !

maybe tach is not very reliable ! but I don't think that rev up 7000rpm anyways...

Nothing of your links talked about D16y7 Redline cut-off ...

However, I don't think so that Civic LX '99 got a D15B ...

Surely JDM spec, not USDM

ok after installing my vafc2, i discovered my tach is 200+- off, and i bounce off the rev limiter at 6916.
