Heres the deal, I need a rear sway bar badly for autox. Especially with the stickies I picked up. My current suspension setup is Tokico Illuminas spring/strut kit. They are 5-way adjustable struts, the springs are about 350 lbs ft up front , and 250 lbs ft in the rear. Now I know generally Id want stiffer springs, that aren't linear, but thats not an option at this moment.
I know you have to be careful with how big of a sway bar you get because you might tear your chassis, however I also read somewhere that might also be because of to soft springs.
I'm thinking a 19mm bar, nice middle of the road size. Do i need the sway bar support plate for that size? Or bigger size? Smaller? Remember shes my DD so she needs to be streetable.
Maybe someone has some recommendations for me?
