Well I got a z6 full motor swap off a guy that has 180kms on it but i was told it needs a new rear main seal. I have never did a rear seal before and have NO clue what to do! haha my tranny is already off but i got no clue what to do or where this seal is located on the motor? So any help from you guys would be awsome!!...thats the only thing that is stopin me fron doign my swap right now!

1) pull the pressure plate/tq converter
2) pull flywheel

the seal is a black or brown hard rubber seal around the crankshaft. use a small hook or med sized flat head to pull it out. swap the new one in. reinstall as you removed the two parts above.

tq specs are on this site and net, so don't bother asking. or the flaming will start.

haynes manual!!!!!! there's so much good info in there if you actually take the time to read it'll you'll actually be a badass mech.
