Hi,

This questions probably been asked a lot of times... but anyway!

I have an EJ9 with a D16Y7 engine swap, and I want to put rear discs on the rear.

Whats the best way to do the swap? What will I need?

Cheers

I did this swap and I used DA Integra rear trailing arms. I could have used any 90-01 Integra rear trailing arms or any 88-00 Civic rear trailing arms. To use Civic rear trailing arms, I would have had to find a set that had rear discs already, or swap on the spindle/caliper/rotor from a rear disc equipped 88-00 Civic or any 90-01
Integra.
I also used a 96-00 EX/99-00 Si master cylinder, 99-00 Si parking brake lines, and 96-00 EX/99-00 Si front knuckles/calipers/rotors.
When I had the smaller front brakes and the rear discs, I was able to lock up the rear brakes under heavy braking. Not good.
It cost me about $1,000 to do the conversion the factory way, with all new parts. You can check my Showcase thread if you want more info.
